Michael D. Joslin, CIMA, CPA

Mike leads Joslin Capital’s Client Management Team and guides the firm’s strategic planning, wealth management and client service delivery efforts. Mike founded Joslin Capital Advisors in 1999 to serve high net worth individuals, non-profits and businesses. Mike works with affluent individuals, endowments, foundations and business retirement plans throughout the country, advising them on how best to manage their investments and financial affairs. Prior to founding Joslin Capital, Mike worked in the investment advisory business for thirteen years, most recently as a Vice President with a national investment firm. Before that, he spent seven years as a CPA in public accounting with an international CPA firm, where he specialized in accounting, auditing and consulting services to high net-worth individuals, charitable and trade organizations, and companies and executives in a wide variety of industries, including the medical, high-tech, investment brokerage, finance, construction, engineering and architecture, retail, manufacturing, wholesale and transportation sectors.

Mike earned a BA in Accounting from the University of Washington. He is a member of the Investment Management Consulting Association, Financial Planning Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the East King County Estate Planning Council (past president). He is a frequent speaker to civic, trade, professional and investor groups throughout the United States. Since 2004, he has been consecutively voted as one of the nation’s top 150 financial advisers for doctors by Medical Economics Magazine.

Ted White, CFP®
Client Advisor

Ted specializes in providing financial and retirement planning, income and cash flow management, and investment advice to affluent individuals and organizations. Ted also helps guide the firm’s strategic planning, new business development, fixed-income strategies and service delivery efforts.  Ted joined Joslin Capital from Morgan Keegan & Co., where he was a Vice President in the Fixed Income Banking Department. Prior to this role, he worked as a municipal bond underwriter and trader.

Ted earned a BA in Business Administration from Austin College. Ted is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner.

Tarek A. McAlee, CFP®
Client Advisor

Tarek focuses on providing investment and financial planning advice to high net worth individuals, retirement plans and non-profit organizations. Tarek also specializes in working with families and professionals to work through the complex financial aspects of trusts and estates. In addition, he acts as the firm’s technology support coordinator. Prior to joining Joslin Capital, Tarek was a Vice President of investments and operations at a leading Seattle-based wealth advisory firm.

Tarek earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Washington and holds several licenses in the securities and insurance industries. In addition, Tarek is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner.

Eric Land
Client Services and Operations Manager

Eric leads Joslin Capital’s client support, portfolio accounting , and reporting efforts. Eric joined Joslin Capital from a leading wealth management firm in Norfolk, VA, where he was an Operations Manager, focusing on trade support, client reporting and portfolio accounting services.

Eric earned a BA in Finance from the College of William and Mary and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Tidewater Community College. Eric also completed Old Dominion University’s Financial Planning Program.
